” Circumstances”

When you’re feeling low about the current circumstances of your life, take time to sit down in a quiet space & write your goals it helps, When you visualize & mediate on where you see your future self, it makes the circumstances of now seem less mountainous & more minuscule. Don’t be distracted when forward progression seems to take a detour. Your GPS is just guiding you down a shortcut in a rough neighborhood. Stay resilient and trust your path. The journey will make sense once you reach your destination…

If you have been brutally broken, but still have the courage to be gentle to others then you deserve a love deeper than the ocean itself. ‘’ When I’m sad, please don’t ask me what’s wrong. Just hug me.’’ I really wonder why people suddenly change after they get what they wanted. One day they’re sweet, the next day, they’re not. One day you’re important to them, the next day you’re worthless. One day they love you, the next day they don’t care about you. That’s how ironic people and things can be. Pretty lies, Pretty I’m sorry, But it’s still your choice, Because you choose to get hurt when you choose to be in love…

” Life Unfair”

Life is unfair. You put someone first who puts you second. You study your butt off for a final only to get a B in the class when you deserved an A. You give 110% to someone in a relationship when they only give 40%. You’re there for your best friend at 3 a.m. when they need it the most, and the next day they don’t pick up their phone. …You give something your all and sometimes get little to nothing back. You care so much about someone who doesn’t care enough about you to say hi once in a while. You give someone your time, and they give you “Sorry, I’m busy”. It seems like you’re giving everyone everything, and they’re just walking away with it.

Love is a funny thing. You expect it to be easy. You expect it to be a world of roses and laughs and perfect moments that you find only in movies. You expect him to always say the right thing and always know exactly how you feel or exactly how to react to it. You expect him to calm you down when you’re yelling or chase you when you run away. You expect so much that you feel entirely and utterly defeated when something doesn’t exactly match up with all your plans. But that’s the thing-love isn’t a plan. It doesn’t have a certain beginning and it certainly has no end of visible finish line to those deeply in it. Love happens and it is so incredibly messy.images-14.jpeg

”President Barack Obama”

It’s a long-standing tradition for the sitting president of the United States to leave a parting letter in the Oval Office for the American elected to take his or her place. It’s a letter meant to share what we know, what we’ve learned, and what small wisdom may help our successor bear the great responsibility that comes with the highest office in our land, and the leadership of the free world.
But before I leave my note for our 45th president, I wanted to say one final thank you for the honor of serving as your 44th. Because all that I’ve learned in my time in office, I’ve learned from you. You made me a better President, and you made me a better man.
Throughout these eight years, you have been the source of goodness, resilience, and hope from which I’ve pulled strength. I’ve seen neighbors and communities take care of each other during the worst economic crisis of our lifetimes. I have mourned with grieving families searching for answers – and found grace in a Charleston church.
I’ve taken heart from the hope of young graduates and our newest military officers. I’ve seen our scientists help a paralyzed man regain his sense of touch, and wounded warriors once given up for dead walk again. I’ve seen Americans whose lives have been saved because they finally have access to medical care, and families whose lives have been changed because their marriages are recognized as equal to our own. I’ve seen the youngest of children remind us through their actions and through their generosity of our obligations to care for refugees, or work for peace, and, above all, to look out for each other.
I’ve seen you, the American people, in all your decency, determination, good humor, and kindness. And in your daily acts of citizenship, I’ve seen our future unfolding.
All of us, regardless of party, should throw ourselves into that work – the joyous work of citizenship. Not just when there’s an election, not just when our own narrow interest is at stake, but over the full span of a lifetime.
I’ll be right there with you every step of the way.
And when the arc of progress seems slow, remember: America is not the project of any one person. The single most powerful word in our democracy is the word ‘We.’ ‘We the People.’ ‘We shall overcome.’
Yes, we can.

” Color”

‘’ Look at yourself as a color. You may not be everybody’s favorite color but believe me, one day you will meet someone who needs you to complete their picture.’’ Travel much as you can, far as you can, as long as you can because life is not meant to be lived in one place. You are confined only by the walls you build yourself, ‘’Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.’’ Always remember don’t ever give up you started your journey for a reason and that reason still exists.’’

”Move On”

If you continuously go out of your way to make someone happy and they don’t return the energy, leave them because they don’t consider you worthy of the same energy they are taking from you. Therefore the vibe is not equal. Don’t let your loyalty make a fool out of you.Move On”

There’s something about being in the presence of a gentleman that just has me on my toes and stroking my collar bones. From their strength and masculinity to their compassionate polite mannerisms. Their sharp suits and shape ups, their bearded smiles. Their intellectual conversations mixed with wit and banter. Their elegance and finesse, the scent of their cologne. Their drive and ambition, their work rate and hustle. How they treat their superiors and inferiors. How they treat other brothers, other people within their community, how they treat their family. Their way of protecting you, holding and consoling you and most importantly, their dedication towards their spirituality. You’ll know when you’re in the presence of a gentleman, because you’ll find yourself encouraging the urge to become a better woman.

”Forget Him Poem”

Forget his name, forget his face, forget his kiss, him warm embrace. Forget the love that you once knew, remember he has someone knew. Forget him when they played your song, remember when you cried all night long. Forget how close you once were, remember he has chosen her. Forget how you memorized his walk, forget the way he used to talk. Forget the things he used to say, remember he has gone away. Forget his laugh, forget his grin, forget the dimples on his chin. Forget the way he held you tight, remember he’s with her tonight. Forget the time that went so fast, forget the love that moved, it’s past. Forget he said he’d leave you never, remember he’s gone forever.

images-8.jpgInner peace begins the moment you choose not to allow another person or event to control your emotions. Get out of your head and into your heart, You don’t have to follow someone else’s path. If a different one works for you go with it and anytime you start a sentence with I AM you are creating what you are and what you want to be.
