I’m Special Diet per My Doctors request becausae I’m diabetic so I have to watch what I eat, everything now is Baked, Broiled or Grilled but I’m like Patty LaBelle the soul singer I have one cheat day usally that day is Sunday and my go to is Fried Chicken, Mac & Cheese, Broccoli and even on my cheat day everything is in moderation. It’s not fun being diabetic it’s a life style change and I have peope around me that’s going to make sure I stay the course, eating healthy and exercising is the key to having life’s longivity also taking your meds always helps. I have to watch also watch my Caboihydrate intake so with me I try to eat fresh vegetables preferably right out of the garden, The for me is Baked, Broiled or Grilled oh sorry I’m really big on Seafood. One last point before I close me being diabetic another key for me is matining a healthy weight when I was diagnosed in 2016 I was weighing 230 pound I’m currently at 190 and maintaing that weight which me being 6:2 is my proper weight hope I this helps anyone who is affected by this disease always remember it’s not a death sentence but a life style change.
